Why so serious?
Don't you wanna know how I got these scars? Well I'll tell you. My wife was in a horrible accident..... j/k So I saw the Dark Knight last weekend and was completely blown away. Ledger's performance as the Joker is probably going to go down in history as one of the greatest villains of all time. Not only that, but it should (and likely will) garner an oscar nom for the late actor. The question then remains... will they let him win? The academy is well known for fucking things up... like Tom Hanks winning multiple best actor awards, never getting Best Picture right, etc. Nothing against Tom Hanks but there are always people that get snubbed and when you win back-to-back it tends to be a bit much. Also, my soccer team wrapped up the regular season championship of our summer league this week by avenging our lone loss of the season. Of course during that 'lone loss' we had absolutely no subs and likely would have won had it not been that way. Guess going undefea...
