I'm reminded of a story...

I assume everyone is familiar with the... um... 'classic' tale of the Princess and the Pea. No matter how seemingly perfect her world was, this bitch couldn't stand the feel of one pea being under her mattress. Even after dozens were stacked above that little pea out of place, she wasn't satisfied. Many people in life probably follow a similar philosophy these days. If everything isn't completely perfect, that means many things must be horribly wrong! Rapid change, rapid change! Save me from this indignant life I live! Fuck off. Seriously though, is the entire world suffering from a bout of depression? Or has the current state of the union and economy really destroyed our chances (as Americans) for a happy life? (or college if you're stuck in the real world like myself) Sometimes I really can't believe I was always looking forward to growing up - pining for my future. First it was getting to high school... then learning to drive... going to parties... graduating and choosing a college... starting college... choosing a major... figuring out a job/internship... finding a job after college... then... that's it. Your life is supposed to be all set. At age 22 you're do...
